Anton Corbijn, over 35 Belgian top photographers and Prix Carmignac. How could DIFT say no to a project like AntwerpPhoto?

During the summer of 2018 you could visit three exhibitions and a sparkling festival programme in one of Antwerps most iconic buildings: Loodswezengebouw, close to MAS. And DIFT made the visual identity and all communication.

AntwerpPhoto is an international photography biennial that showcases the latest in photography.

The branding, to start with, is a little twinkle in the eye and refers to the icons picture cameras use for focusing. At the same time, they’re flexible enough to use throughout the communication. Check out the Instagram account

Next to the logo we also designed an icon, continuing the game of lines.

AntwerpPhoto’s website was the most simple form of a complex programme. And that was our intention: the festival week aims at amateur and professional photographers with an extensive line-up.

But next to that AntwerpPhoto expected a lot of visitors for the three exhibitions. And they wanted to buy a ticket as easily as possible.

Broad view

A project like AntwerpPhoto is so extensive that we - exceptionally - decided to take care of all communication with a DIFT team. Branding, media buying, managing the campaign and PR are included.

But we also captured the festival. You already saw the pictures DIFT made, and below you can watch of the many movies we made of our visitors.

Clouds - partner-in-crime - produced the festival. Kaat Celis was the festival’s curator.
